2021 College Scholarship Recipients
We’re so incredibly proud to support our four college student scholarship recipients from the 2021 school year as they work toward bright futures. Get to know each of our current scholars, as well as past scholarship recipients.
Aaron Homem
Aaron Homem is a recipient of the Portuguese Americans for Higher Education scholarship. He is currently attending Emerson College, majoring in Media Arts Production. He is the son of Luciano and Elizabeth Homem. Aaron is a graduate of Saint John’s Preparatory School, Class of 2019. This is his second year receiving a PAFHE scholarship.
Vitoria Pereira
Vitoria Pereira is a recipient of the Portuguese Americans for Higher Education scholarship. She is currently attending Bryant College, majoring in Accounting. She is the daughter of Luiz and Afra Pereira. Vitoria is a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 2018. This is her third year receiving a PAFHE scholarship.
Tatiana Correia
Tatiana Correia is a recipient of the Portuguese Americans for Higher Education scholarship. She is currently attending Emmanuel College majoring in Chemistry. She is the daughter of Paulo Correia and Sonia Cunha. Tatiana is a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 2019. This is her third year receiving a PAFHE scholarship.
Olivia Diogo
Olivia Diogo is the recipient of the Portuguese Americans for Higher Education Dr. Joao Baretto Memorial Scholarship. Olivia is currently attending LaSalle University, majoring in exercise science. Olivia Diogo is the daughter of Joao and Maria Fatima Diogo and is a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 2018. This is her fourth year receiving a PAFHE scholarship.
